Happy holidays to our Book Club members! January’s novel is going to be A Recipe for Bees by Gail Anderson-Dargatz and will be hosted by our guest reader Alan Bradley.
This months author, Gail Anderson-Dargatz has been a Giller prize finalist, won the UK’s Betty Trask Award, the BC Book Prize for Fiction and the VanCity Book Prize for her first novel, The Cure for Death by Lightning. Her novel, A Recipe for Bees has also been nominated as a finalist for the Giller prize as well as the IMPAC Dublin Literary Award.
Our guest reader, Alan Bradley, the author of multiple children’s stories, newspaper articles, screenplays and novels such as The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie which was featured on the New York Times bestsellers list.
